Jessica Dillon, RSW
Full-Spectrum Doula
I'm Jessica! A female-identifying human with a bad habit of taking too long to drink my coffee (usually because I'm busy talking enthusiastically with my hands). I live in Dawson Creek with my four furry children and my sweet husband, Simon. I like to sing, eat M&M's, and shop at thrift stores.

I'm a registered social worker by trade, but my passion for reproductive + perinatal wellness brought me to the doula world in early 2020. I have worked as a mental health care provider since 2017, and have specialized training in providing grief and loss support.

I believe that every birthing person, partner and family should have access to the support they need during one of the most challenging, transformational, and rewarding times of their lives! I practice as a full-spectrum doula, with the intention of providing care that reaches all people in the perinatal period, regardless of their personal choices or the circumstances they find themselves in outside of their control.
Pre-conception Planning, Budget Assistance, Fertility Journey Support
Adoption + Surrogacy Support
Home and Hospital Births, with/without Medical Interventions
1st Babies, Lone Birthers, Young Mothers, Multiples
So, what does "full-spectrum" really mean?
Termination, Miscarriage, Infant Loss, Chronic Illness/Disability, Grief Support
Prenatal, Birth, Postpartum Care
...and everything in between!
Guiding My Practice -
Education, Training, and Standards
I completed the 270-hour comprehensive Holistic Doula Certificate Program at Pacific Rim College in April 2020, and as of February 2021 am a Certified Holistic Doula.
Prior to becoming a doula, I received my Bachelor Degree in Social Work from Thompson Rivers University in 2016, and became a Registered Social Worker in 2023.

Because of my social work background, my training in bereavement (grief and loss), and my experience in the mental health field, I am able to offer a diverse range of services to all clients!
